Public Health Engineering & Rural Development Department Sindh: Sub-Engineer Vacancies Announced
The Public Health Engineering & Rural Development Department, Government of Sindh has announced 200 vacancies for Sub-Engineers (BS-11) in various engineering disciplines. The department is seeking qualified candidates for a three-year contract, extendable based on performance. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Second Division or equivalent) in Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering Technology from a recognized institute/university, registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).OR
- Three-year Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in the relevant technology (Civil, Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, or Chemical) from an institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE), along with three years of relevant experience.
Age Limit: 21-28 years
Application Process
Candidates must apply online through the SIBA Testing Services (STS) portal by following these steps:
- Online Registration: Visit the official STS portal at https://apply.sts.net.pk and complete the online registration process.
- Challan Fee: After completing the application, download the system-generated challan of Rs. 1500/- (non-refundable). This fee can be paid at any ABL Bank Ltd branch or through internet banking via 1Bill.
- Document Upload: Candidates must upload their CNIC, Domicile, PRC/Form D, one recent passport-sized photograph, and academic documents.
- Verification: Original certificates will be verified only for shortlisted candidates at the time of the interview. Any incorrect or false declaration will lead to automatic disqualification at any stage.
- Test Information: The date, time, and venue of the test will be communicated through online call letters, SMS, and the STS website. Candidates are advised to regularly check the STS portal for updates.
