About PPMC

PPMC is mandated to develop, monitor, and evaluate strategic energy policies and plans for Pakistan’s power sector. Its responsibilities include addressing technical challenges, proposing innovative solutions, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Newly hired employees will serve 13 months on probation, with regularization based on performance evaluations.


Available Positions and Key Details

1. Assistant Specialist – Finance

Responsibilities:

  • Develop financial models, forecasts, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Analyze risks and design mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in investment planning and capital allocation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for reporting and auditing.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, or Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and financial modeling tools.

2. Assistant Specialist – Accounts & Finance

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly/annual financial statements.
  • Manage payroll, vendor payments, and tax regulations.
  • Support audits and maintain compliance with reporting standards.
  • Collaborate across departments for budget planning.

Qualifications:

  • CA/ACCA/CMA or Master’s degree in Finance.
  • 5 years of experience in managing accounts in reputable organizations.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and data reporting tools.

3. Assistant Specialist – Policy

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze national energy policies and propose updates.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative assessments to develop solutions.
