Key Job Responsibilities
As a Boiler Attendant at PTVC, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Boiler Operations: Operate and monitor the boiler to ensure smooth functioning.
- Reading and Interpreting Gauges: Monitor various gauges, meters, and charts to ensure boilers are functioning within safe operational limits.
- Maintaining Safety Limits: Ensure all safety protocols, including water level, back pressure, oil temperature, and pressure, are met to comply with safety standards.
- Log and Maintenance Records: Keep detailed logs of boiler operations, production, maintenance, and safety checks, including test results and equipment malfunctions.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Certification: 3rd Class Boiler Attendant Certificate from a recognized institution.
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Boiler Attendant.
