PSEB Announces Key Career Opportunities in Project Management and Finance
The Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), an autonomous body under the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, has announced several career opportunities for skilled professionals. PSEB is hiring on a contract basis for its “GDPR-Driven IT Export Enhancement Program” and is seeking dedicated individuals to help promote Pakistan as a leading “Tech Destination.”The organization has invited applications for key roles based in Islamabad.
Available Positions in Project and Finance Management
PSEB is in search of experienced individuals to fill critical management roles. The maximum age for all applicants is 45 years.
Project Manager (PPS-09):
This senior position requires a minimum of 16 years of education in fields such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration. Candidates must have at least eight years of professional experience, including four years managing capacity-building projects for IT companies. Certifications like CISA, CISSP, ISO27001, or GDPR
Finance Manager (PPS-09): Applicants should possess an MBA in Finance, or an ICMA or ACCA qualification. This role demands a minimum of eight years of relevant post-qualification experience in financial management, covering areas like bill processing, payables, receivables, financial projection, and tax laws.
Crucial Roles in Project Support and Evaluation
To ensure robust project execution and oversight, PSEB is also filling essential support and monitoring roles.
Assistant Manager (M&E) (PPS-08):
Candidates for this position need at least 16 years of education in Management Sciences, IT, or Project Management. A minimum of four years of post-qualification experience in project management, monitoring, and evaluation is required, with at least three years of experience working with PSDP Projects.
Project Officer (PPS-08): This role requires 16 years of education in Management Sciences, Human Resources, or Computer Science/IT. Applicants must have at least four years of experience in human resource development, project management, or capacity development. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in government projects (PSDP/ADP).
