RASTA – PIDE & Planning Commission Seeks Professionals for Policy Research Programme
The Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE) and the Planning Commission have announced job openings for their prestigious ‘RASTA – PIDE-Planning Commission Research Grants Programme.’ This initiative, under the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, is seeking applications from dedicated Pakistani nationals to join its Project Management Unit on a contractual basis.
About the Competitive Research Grants Programme
The RASTA programme is the largest economics and public policy research grants initiative in Pakistan. Its core mission is to cultivate an extensive network of academia and think tanks across the country. This network is dedicated to producing high-quality, evidence-based policy research to inform and improve Pakistan’s public policy processes.
The programme has already established a vast network comprising over 270 universities and think tanks, 17 international institutes, 27 government organizations, and more than 4,300 researchers and professionals. To date, RASTA has successfully published 122 research reports, papers, and books through its funding.
