1. Research Officer
No. of Vacancies: 01 Post
Required Qualification: M.Phil (Microbiology).
Experience & Skills: 3–4 years of experience in R&D organizations, preferably within PSDP projects. The candidate must possess practical knowledge regarding the operation of precise analytical laboratory equipment.
Core Responsibilities: Responsible for the quality assurance of bio-products through fermentation processes.
2. Technician (Agriculture Background)

Required Qualification: BSc / BS Agriculture.
Experience & Skills: Preferably a minimum of 2–3 years of experience in agriculture or plant breeding. Must have knowledge of pilot plant processes and chemical reactions.
Core Responsibilities: Assist in the cultivation, harvesting, and processing of agricultural crops under experimental field conditions. Safely handle raw materials and conduct required chemical reactions.
3. Technician (Textile Engineering Background)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Post
Required Qualification: BSc / BS Textile Engineering.
Experience & Skills: Preferably a minimum of 2–3 years of experience in textile machinery, fiber processing, spinning, and industrial production systems. Special preference will be given to candidates with practical experience in the extraction of hemp fiber and spinning it into string, alongside design and development experience for fiber extraction machinery.
Key Terms and General Conditions
Contractual Nature: The posts are purely on a contract basis for a stipulated period of time. There is absolutely no provision or promise of being regularized.
Tenure Details: Appointments are initially for a period of 12 months, extendable for another 01 year based on satisfactory performance until the completion of the project.
Selection Policy: Selection will be made purely on a merit basis. The selection committee reserves the right to withhold the appointment against any advertised post if no proper candidate is available.
Posting Clause: Although based in Lahore for the project, selected candidates hold the liability to be posted anywhere in PCSIR Laboratories across the country.
Government Servants: Candidates already working in government departments must apply through the proper channel.
Logistics Note: Only short-listed candidates will be invited for subsequent written tests or interviews. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in tests/interviews.
