Pakistan Coast Guards is seeking dedicated individuals for the position of Civilian Medical Officer on a contract basis. This is a two-year contract, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and mutual interest. Position: Civilian Medical Officer

Vacancy: 03 BPS: 17 (Male)

Qualification/Experience/Age:

• Qualification: MBBS/FCPS (Preference will be given to FCPS holders).
• Experience: One year house job, preferably six months in Medicine/Surgery. Additional experience will be preferred.
• Age:
  • Civilian: 25 to 35 years
  • Retired Army Officer: Up to 45 years (with general relaxation of up to 5 years on a case-to-case basis)

Nationality:

Pakistani citizen or Azad Jammu Kashmir.

Ineligibility:

The following individuals are ineligible to apply:

• Discharged or released from any Government service on disciplinary grounds.
• Convicted by Court of Law for an offence involving moral turpitude.
• Pension and gratuity not admissible.

Terms and Conditions:

• Medical Officer may be appointed anywhere in Balochistan/Sindh Province within Pakistan Coast Guards’ area of responsibility.
• One month advance notice or payment of basic pay is required for termination of the contract.
• No postgraduate training/courses allowed during the contract period.
• Official Secrets Act, 1923, is applicable.
