Now Hiring: Flight Inspector Pilot (EG-08)

PCAA is seeking to hire three (03) highly experienced pilots for the crucial role of Flight Inspector. This position is central to ensuring the safety and operational standards of commercial aviation in Pakistan.

  • Location: The position will initially be based in Karachi, with the possibility of relocation to Islamabad, Lahore, or any other station as required by safety oversight needs.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must be a Pakistani National.

  • Hold or have held an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a type rating on a Commercial Transport Aircraft with a Maximum Gross Takeoff Weight (MGTOW) of 40,000 Kg or more.

  • A minimum of 5,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command of a Commercial Air Transport Aircraft (MGTOW of 40,000 Kg or more).

  • Must have a Synthetic Flight Examiner (SFE) or Type Rating Examiner (TRE) endorsement on an ATPL, or be an instructor for commercial aircraft (MGTOW of 40,000 kg or more).

  • 10 years or more of experience in Commercial Air Transport Aircraft as a Pilot.

  • Experience in operational management is a plus, preferably with a background in airline operations, safety management, compliance audits, and/or regulatory oversight.

  • Must possess strong analytical, decision-making, communication, and report-writing skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office is mandatory.

  • An excellent safety record and a high degree of professional integrity are essential.

Pay Scale and Employment Terms:

  • Grade: EG-08

  • Pay: Rs. 1,373,230/- per month with a 5% annual increment.

  • Contract: Three (03) years (extendable).

  • Age Limit: Maximum 66 years (inclusive of all age relaxations).


Career Opportunity: Deputy Director Coordination & Support (EG-03)

The PCAA is also looking to recruit two (02) individuals for the position of Deputy Director Coordination & Support, a key administrative role within the organization.

Key Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in any discipline. A degree in Public Administration is preferred.

Pay Scale and Employment Terms:

  • Grade: EG-03

  • Quota: Merit – 02 positions.

  • Pay: Rs. 250,927/- per month (negotiable).

  • Age Limit: Maximum 40 years (inclusive of all age relaxations).
