Position 1: Chief Development Geologist
The Chief Development Geologist is tasked with providing high-level geological insights and expertise in the exploration and production (E&P) sector. This position requires candidates to have advanced skills in static reservoir modeling, structural interpretation, reservoir characterization, and more.
Qualification & Experience:
- Education: M.Sc. or B.S. (4 years) in Geology from an HEC-recognized institution
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years of post-qualification experience in E&P, with at least 8 years in roles involving static reservoir modeling and geology
- Skills: Expertise in field development, fracture characterization, facies analysis, and volumetric estimation. Candidates must also have experience in geo-modeling workflows and Brown Field Revival projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct static reservoir modeling and geological assessments.
- Oversee structural interpretation and volumetric estimation projects.
- Work with advanced geo-modeling tools for the analysis of reservoir data.
Position 2: Deputy Chief Reservoir Engineer
The Deputy Chief Reservoir Engineer will manage reservoir engineering tasks with a focus on reservoir dynamics, reservoir simulation, and advanced modeling techniques to optimize hydrocarbon production.
Qualification & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum or Gas Engineering, registered with PEC
- Experience: At least 10 years of post-qualification experience in E&P, including a minimum of 5 years in reservoir simulation using industry-standard tools
- Skills: Strong understanding of reservoir dynamic modeling, acid fracturing, and advanced EOR/IOR techniques
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply reservoir dynamic modeling techniques, including EOR/IOR and hydraulic fracturing.
- Conduct simulations and evaluations using tools such as INTERSECT, Petrel RE, and Eclipse.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for reservoir optimization.
Terms and Application Process
- Contract Duration: Both positions are on a 3-year contract, extendable upon mutual consent.
- Age Limit: Maximum 45 years for both positions.
