OGDCL National Talent Hunt Program 2024 at Sukkur IBA University: Fully Funded Scholarships for Aspiring Students
OGDCL National Talent Hunt Program 2024 The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), in collaboration with Sukkur IBA University, proudly announces the OGDCL-National Talent Hunt Program 2024. This program offers fully funded scholarships for deserving and talented students from underprivileged regions of Pakistan, including districts from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Sindh. The goal of the program is to empower students with high-quality education and open doors for their academic and professional success.
Degree Programs Offered
Students selected under this program can choose from a range of undergraduate degree programs at Sukkur IBA University, which include:
- BBA: Accounting and Finance, Media & Communication, and Mathematics.
- BS: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Science with Specialization in Artificial Intelligence.
- B.Ed: Physical Education and Sports.
- BE: Electrical Engineering and Computer Systems Engineering.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates for BBA/BS/B.Ed programs must have completed their Intermediate/ FSc or equivalent with at least 50% marks in the last examination.
- Candidates applying for BE (Electrical and Computer Systems) must have cleared their Intermediate (Pre-Engineering) or equivalent with 60% marks.
- For BS Mathematics, students who have completed their Intermediate (Pre-Engineering) or equivalent with at least 50% marks in the final exams are eligible.
Selection is based purely on merit-cum-need, with priority given to candidates from underprivileged districts identified by OGDCL.
Scholarship Benefits
The scholarship covers all essential academic and living expenses for selected students, including:
- Tuition Fees for the Foundation Semester.
- Transport charges, books, monthly stipends, and hostel facilities.
- Support for outstanding performers in regular degree programs.
Selection Criteria
To be eligible, candidates must:
- Have completed their Intermediate/ FSc/A-Level in the years 2022, 2023, or 2024.
- Submit their applications for the Foundation Semester. Students who successfully complete this semester with a minimum GPA of 2.2 will be eligible for further admissions.
Top 200 performing students will be granted admission into various degree programs on a merit basis.
