POPULATION COUNCIL JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

Positions Available:

1. Director Monitoring and Evaluation
2. Director Communication and Advocacy
3. Director Research – Population and Development
4. Climate Change Researcher
5. Director Administration and Finance

Required Qualifications and Experience:

1. Director Monitoring and Evaluation:
   • PhD in public health, demography, statistics, social sciences, or related field
   • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in monitoring and evaluation
   • Strong quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills
2. Director Communication and Advocacy:
   • PhD or Master’s degree in social development, communications, or equivalent
   • Minimum of 10 years management experience in corporate or NGO environment
   • Knowledge of advocacy strategies, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement techniques
3. Director Research – Population and Development:
   • Advanced degree (PhD or Master’s) in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Health, Economics, or related field
   • Minimum experience of 10 years in leading research and development initiatives
   • Expertise in research design and quantitative/qualitative data analysis
4. Climate Change Researcher:
   • PhD or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Climate Change Studies, or related field
   • 5 years of experience in climate change or environmental research, preferably within an INGO or international development context
   • Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis
5. Director Administration and Finance:
   • Minimum a Master’s degree in Accounting or Financial Management
   • 10 years of experience, including at least five (5) years in a leadership role in an INGO or development sector
   • Full accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred
