Premier Role: Branch Manager (OG-I)
A significant opportunity is available for a dynamic leader to take on the role of Branch Manager (OG-I). This position is ideal for banking professionals looking to advance their careers in Islamic Banking.
Key Qualifications and Experience
minimum of a graduate degree from an HEC-recognized institution; a Commerce Graduation or an Islamic Banking. The role requires a minimum of four years of experience in branch banking, with at least two of those years serving as a Branch Manager, preferably within an Islamic banking environment.
Essential Skills and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess sound knowledge of branch banking operations, Islamic banking products, and compliance regulations, including AML/CFT and SBP Prudential Regulations. Strong business acumen, leadership qualities, and excellent customer service skills are paramount.
The Branch Manager will be responsible for the overall management of branch affairs, including supervision, business development, and the achievement of KPIs. Key duties involve promoting Islamic Banking products, meeting sales targets, ensuring Shariah compliance in all operations, and leading the branch team effectively. This position is available in Chhattro & Okara.
Core Position: Credit Operations Officer (OG-II / OG-I)
NBP is also looking for a meticulous and skilled Credit Operations Officer (OG-II / OG-I) to strengthen its team. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of credit operations within the Islamic banking framework.
Key Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of a graduate degree. A Master’s degree or an Islamic Banking certification or diploma is considered a plus. This position requires at least two years of relevant banking experience.
Essential Skills and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office Suite and databases. A solid understanding of Islamic banking principles, products, and policies is required. The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet targets is essential.
Responsibilities include ensuring all accounting entries related to credit transactions are accurate, executing profit calculations and disbursements, managing customer queries, maintaining credit files, and ensuring all operations comply with banking laws and Shariah principles. This position is based in Karachi.
