Open Positions and Eligibility Criteria

1. Executive Director, Vaccine and Biological Products Center (BPS-21)

Qualification & Experience:
MBBS, MD or equivalent degree, OR M.Sc in Biosciences/Molecular Biology/Genetics/Zoology/Microbiology/Virology.
AND A postgraduate qualification in microbiology/virology/immunology (e.g., MRCPath/FCPS/Dip. Am. Board).
A minimum of 12 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant field, with experience in management.
Preferable Experience:
Experience in epidemiology, planning and implementing large-scale public health vaccination programs.
Work experience in vaccine and biological research, development, and evaluation.
Senior or executive capacity experience in a health program with substantial HR management and decision-making skills.
Preferably, a research degree (PhD/M.Phil) in microbiology/immunology, a track record of attracting research grants, and at least ten (10) relevant peer-reviewed research papers published in high-impact journals during the preceding 5 years.
2. Executive Director, Center for Disease Control (BPS-21)

Domicile: Merit
Qualification & Experience:
MBBS, MD or equivalent degree recognized by PMDC.
AND A postgraduate qualification (Physician Consultant/Specialization) in a relevant field such as Infectious Diseases, FCPS, Preventive Medicine, Public Health, Community Medicine, Epidemiology, or FCPS Pathology (preferably microbiology or virology).
A minimum of 12 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant field, with experience in management.
Preferable Experience:
A research degree (PhD) in a relevant field from a recognized university.
A track record of attracting research grants and establishing a research program.
At least ten (10) relevant peer-reviewed research papers published in high-impact national or international journals during the preceding 5 years.
Terms and Conditions
Age Limit: The minimum age limit for applicants is 45 years.
Government Employees: Government/Semi-Government servants must apply through the proper channel and will be required to provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.
Conflict of Interest: An Executive Director shall have no conflict of interest and must issue a declaration to this effect.
Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be admissible.
