Position Details

Required Qualifications & Experience
Qualification:
Minimum 16 years of education in Geoinformatics, GIS & Remote Sensing, Data Science, or any related discipline.
Experience:
06–08 years of professional work experience, with at least 02–03 years of relevant expertise.
Must have completed a minimum of 03 landmark national and international projects of a similar nature.
Should have experience in managing heterogeneous datasets from multiple sources, particularly GIS and remote sensing data.
Proven expertise in GeoSpatial modeling, database design, satellite imagery, digital elevation models (DEM), and hazard/vulnerability assessments.
Strong knowledge of spatial DBMS (e.g., PostGIS, Oracle Spatial) and analytical programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with open-source GIS tools and software.
