Senior NOC Support Officer (AVP/VP)

Reporting to:

Wing Head – Command & Control Center

Educational / Professional Qualification:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC.

Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:

  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Main Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage 24/7 Data Center and NOC operations.
  • Monitor and configure the Network Management System (NMS).
  • Manage 24/7 shift operations, duties, and resources.
  • Supervise data center resources to maintain infrastructure and applications availability.
  • Inform senior management of any system-level issues that may affect availability.
  • Coordinate the installation and dismantling of devices per established policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date assets tagging and data center inventory.
  • Supervise daily communication of ATM and non-ATM branches and coordinate with vendors for link restoration.
  • Oversee network-related issues of all critical devices/applications and Disaster Recovery (DR).
  • Coordinate with vendors for media issues and implementation.
  • Identify and resolve common root causes of issues to improve production stability.
  • Perform any other assignments as assigned by the supervisor(s).

Senior Database Administrator (AVP/VP)

Reporting to:

Unit Head – Databases Administration

Educational / Professional Qualification:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC.
  • Candidates with a Master’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent and/or relevant certification(s) will be preferred.

Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:

  • Strong knowledge of database architecture, HA/DR, security, encryption, performance optimization, and implementation.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Main Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Manage Database Administration of Oracle & MSSQL Server.
  • Perform day-to-day maintenance and monitoring of production, development, and testing environments.
  • Manage database environments for upgrade, migration, maintenance, and patching activities.
  • Troubleshoot critical issues on Database Servers.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to maintain critical services of the Bank.
  • Manage databases back-ups with excellent recovery procedures.
  • Ensure high availability, replication, clustering of mission-critical databases.
  • Conduct routine reviews of databases to ensure audit and compliance.
  • Conduct research and recommend solutions for operational improvement.
  • Manage automation for technical & operational tasks and alerts for proactive monitoring.
  • Provide 24/7 database support and escalate issues/incidents as necessary.
  • Perform any other assignments as assigned by the supervisor(s).

Systems Administrator – AIX/Linux (AVP/VP)

Reporting to:

Unit Head – Systems Administration (AIX/Linux)

Educational / Professional Qualification:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC.
  • Candidates with a Master’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent and/or relevant certification(s) will be preferred.

Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:

  • Strong knowledge of system architecture and recoveries, security setup, performance optimization, auditing, patching, proactive monitoring, health checks, and alerts/notification setup.
  • Excellent command of systems architecture and administration concepts, server virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM), and shell/bash scripting.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Main Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Manage systems administration with AIX/Linux platforms.
  • Perform day-to-day maintenance and monitoring of production, development, and testing environments.
  • Manage AIX/Linux environments for upgrade, migration, maintenance, and patching activities.
  • Troubleshoot critical issues on Linux servers and provide ad-hoc support for system recoveries.
  • Perform back-up and recovery activities of AIX/Linux operating systems.
  • Automate technical and operational tasks involving shell/bash scripts.
  • Manage principal support, Service Level Agreements, and renewals.
  • Conduct research and recommend solutions for operational improvement.
  • Provide 24/7 system support and escalate issues/incidents as necessary.
  • Conduct routine hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Perform any other assignments as assigned by the supervisor(s).
