Position / Job Title: Teller (OG-III / OG-II)
Reporting to: Branch Operations Manager
Educational / Professional Qualification:
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC
- Candidates with a Master’s degree and/or degree/diploma/certification in Islamic Banking from a recognized institution will be preferred
Experience: Minimum 01 year of relevant banking experience
Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:
- Sound knowledge of SBP Prudential Regulations (PRS) regarding Cash Management
- Good understanding of branch banking operations
- Excellent cash-handling skills
- Proficient in MS Office suite
- Good communication and customer-handling skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:
- Receiving cash from Branch Operations Manager/Supervisor
- Providing account services to customers by receiving deposits and withdrawals
- Facilitating remittance, utility bills collection, and government receipts/payments
- Ensuring effective vault management and cash handling as per Bank SOP
- Handling Funds Transfer & ATM related transactions and their balancing
- Maintaining highest standards of customer service at all times
- Balancing cash and preparation of Cash Book
- Cross-selling bank products and services to customers
- Ensuring compliance with banking laws, regulations, and SOPs
Place of Posting: Various locations including Alipur, Bagh AK, Chakwal, Dadu, Dadyal AK, Daulatpur, Gharo, Gujranwala, Haripur, Haroonabad, Hyderabad, Jamrud, Jhang, Jhelum, Karachi, Khanewal, Kotli AK, Lahore, Mirpur AK, Mirpur Khas, Mukhad, Narowal, Okara, Sialkot, Sukkur, and Timergara.
Assessment Test / Interview(s): Only shortlisted candidates strictly meeting the basic eligibility criteria will be invited for test and/or panel interview(s).
Employment Type: Contractual basis for three years, renewable based on Management discretion.
