NADRA Jobs 2025: Hiring IT Professionals in Islamabad
The National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA), a key organization under the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control, Government of Pakistan, is seeking highly skilled and experienced professionals to join its team. NADRA has announced several vacancies for the position of Deputy Assistant Director at its headquarters in Islamabad (G-5/2).
This is an exceptional opportunity for IT and tech professionals to work with a leading national institution. Selected candidates will be hired initially for a contract period of five years, which may be extendable.
Deputy Assistant Director: Vacancies and Specializations
NADRA is looking to fill three specialized Deputy Assistant Director roles. The details for each position are outlined below.
1. Deputy Assistant Director (Artificial Intelligence)
Maximum Age: 30 Years
Educational Background: A 4-year Bachelor’s degree (16 years of HEC verified education) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or an equivalent field.
Professional Experience & Skills:
Preferably 0-2 years of experience in AI or Data Science projects.
Strong proficiency in Python and its libraries for machine learning and deep learning.
Working knowledge of natural language processing (NLP), large language models (LLMs), and computer vision techniques.
Hands-on experience in designing and deploying AI models and working on projects involving machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision.
2. Deputy Assistant Director (GIS Developer)
Maximum Age: 30 Years
Educational Background: A 4-year Bachelor’s degree (16 years of HEC verified education) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Remote Sensing & GIS, or an equivalent field.
Professional Experience & Skills:
Preferably 0-2 years of post-graduation experience in data analysis and visualization.
Technically sound in designing, developing, and maintaining GIS applications.
Proficient in ESRI tools (ArcGIS, ArcMAP), Map Info, and AutoCAD.
Strong programming skills in languages like Python, JavaScript, or C# used in GIS development.
Experience with integrating map services (e.g., Google Maps) and database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, PostGIS).
3. Deputy Assistant Director (Mobile Developer – iOS)
Maximum Age: 30 Years
Educational Background: A 4-year Bachelor’s degree (16 years of HEC verified education) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
Professional Experience & Skills:
Preferably 0-2 years of post-qualification experience in developing high-quality iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift or Objective-C for iOS development.
Strong understanding of the mobile application development lifecycle and UI/UX design principles.
Well-versed with iOS frameworks including Core Data, UIKit, and Core Location.
Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party SDK integration, and version control systems like Git.
