Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following educational qualifications:

  • Be an advocate of a High Court with a standing of not less than fifteen years.
  • Have practiced professionally as a chartered accountant for a period of not less than ten years, within the meaning of the Chartered Accountants’ Ordinance, 1961.
  • Have practiced professionally as a cost and management accountant for a period of not less than ten years, within the meaning of the Cost and Management Accountants Act, 1966.

Professional Experience

This experience must be relevant to the roles and responsibilities of a tribunal member, ensuring that candidates are well-prepared to handle complex tax adjudication cases.

Age Limit

Candidates must be below 62 years of age as of the last date for submission of applications.
