The Health & Population Department Punjab, in collaboration with PHC Global, has launched a major recruitment drive under the transformative Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services Program. This initiative aims to strengthen grassroots healthcare delivery across the province by deploying a network of skilled health professionals. PHC Global is seeking to hire 1,067 dedicated Community Health Inspectors (CHIs) to be the frontline ambassadors of this public health mission in key districts.
District-Wise Vacancy Breakdown
The available positions are distributed across the following districts in Punjab:
Sahiwal District: 450 Positions
Pakpattan District: 329 Positions
Okara District: 288 Positions
Total Positions: 1,067
Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the Community Health Inspector (CHI) position, candidates must meet the following mandatory criteria:
Professional Qualification: Must be a Community Midwife (CMW), a Midwife, or a Lady Health Visitor (LHV).
Registration: Must be duly registered with the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) or any other relevant council.
Eligible Candidates: Skilled workers already attached with the Health Department are also encouraged to apply.
Age Limit: The maximum age of the candidate at the time of application must be 40 years.
Preference: Strong preference will be given to local candidates from the respective districts.
Job Responsibilities: Role of a Community Health Inspector
The selected CHIs will be entrusted with critical primary healthcare tasks, including:
Home Visits & Data Registration: Conducting door-to-door visits for family registration and data entry.
Maternal & Child Health: Performing essential health checkups for mothers (Ante-Natal Care – ANC and Post-Natal Care – PNC) and children.
Family Planning Guidance: Providing counseling and guidance on family planning methods.
Disease Screening & Vaccination: Conducting screenings for common diseases and administering protective vaccinations.
Community Outreach: Acting as a vital link between the community and the formal healthcare system.
