Position 1: Manager Taxation

This senior role is designed for a strategic thinker who can navigate complex tax landscapes and drive financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive short-term and long-term taxation strategies.

  • Oversee and negotiate financing agreements to secure favorable terms for the organization.

  • Ensure full compliance with income tax, sales tax, and customs regulations, managing all filings and resolving issues with authorities.

  • Lead all tax compliance and advisory activities, managing audits and appeals to safeguard against legal risks.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all communications with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and customs authorities.

  • Provide the CFO and senior leadership with critical insights into the organization’s tax performance to inform strategic decision-making.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualification: Must be a member of a recognized body of professional accountants (e.g., CA, ACCA, CMA) OR hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Commerce from a reputable institution.

  • Experience: 8-12 years of professional experience specifically in corporate business taxation.

  • Age Limit: Maximum 45 years by the application closing date.

  • Skills: Proven ability to drive innovative tax solutions and optimize financial performance.

Position 2: Company Secretary

This pivotal role is the cornerstone of corporate governance, ensuring the organization meets its highest regulatory and statutory obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure strict compliance with the Companies Act, 2017 and all SOE (State-Owned Enterprise) governance frameworks.

  • Organize and manage Board of Directors (BoD) and Committee meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and following up on action items.

  • Serve as the crucial liaison between the BoD, management, and stakeholders.

  • Maintain all statutory records, filings, and corporate documents as required by law.

  • Provide expert legal and administrative support on all corporate governance matters.

  • Advise the Board on legal and regulatory matters affecting the organization’s operations.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualification: Must be a member of a recognized body of professional accountants OR a qualified corporate/chartered secretary OR hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or Law.

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in corporate governance and secretarial practices, with at least 5 years specifically in a Company Secretary role.
