Pakistan – One of the major power sector companies in Pakistan, responsible for the efficient transmission of electricity from generation sources to distribution companies nationwide, is seeking to hire a top-class Manager Corporate & Regulatory Affairs. This is a critical role designed to provide expert legal support to the company in its dealings with the power sector regulator, tax authorities, and other government bodies.

The successful candidate will be a key legal advisor within the company, playing a vital role in ensuring regulatory compliance and managing interactions with external legal and governmental entities.
Key Job Description & Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice on all matters involving regulatory bodies.
Possess and maintain in-depth knowledge and understanding of corporate and NEPRA laws.
Manage and coordinate all legal matters assigned to external legal counsel.
Oversee the quality of all services and deliverables from the Corporate & Regulatory Affairs section, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Lead and manage subordinate staff, including conducting performance appraisals and ensuring their professional development.
Monitor and maintain performance levels to meet KPIs assigned by the Chief Law Officer.
Assist the Chief Law Officer in fulfilling assigned responsibilities and support the development of standard legal documentation.
Required Qualification and Specification
To be considered for this senior position, candidates must meet the following specific criteria:
Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Law.
Experience: A minimum of eight (8) years of post-qualification experience.
Specialized Experience: This must include at least three (3) years of law practice and a minimum of three (3) years of experience specifically dealing in corporate and regulatory matters.
