Application Process
The NOP application process is structured in multiple stages to identify and prepare eligible students:
Step 1: Application Submission
Eligible students should apply during the first year of their Intermediate or A-Levels studies. Those applying in October 2024 will be considered for admission to the Summer Coaching Session in 2025. Applications can be submitted online through the NOP application portal at nopscs.lums.edu.pk.
Step 2: Summer Coaching Session
Selected applicants participate in a two-week Summer Coaching Session held at LUMS during the summer break. The coaching session, provided free of charge, includes all expenses covered by LUMS. This experience offers a glimpse into the LUMS academic environment and prepares students for the university’s rigorous admission process. Participation in the coaching session, however, does not guarantee admission or a scholarship at LUMS.
Step 3: LUMS Admission Test Registration
After successfully completing the coaching session, LUMS will pay the registration fee for one admission test attempt for each candidate. This ensures that financial constraints do not hinder eligible students from taking the required tests.
Step 4: Admission to LUMS
Students who successfully clear the admission test and meet all academic and curriculum standards will move on to the final application stage. They can apply for admission to any undergraduate program at LUMS through the official admissions portal: admissions.lums.edu.pk.
