The Legal Rights Forum (LRF), a prominent non-profit organization, has launched a major recruitment drive for its new Non-Formal Education (NFE) Project in Sindh. This project is specifically designed to enhance literacy rates in District Jacobabad (Tehsil Thull) and District Kashmore (Tehsil Tangwani).
With over 80 vacancies available, ranging from senior management to field teaching staff, this is a significant opportunity for development professionals and educators in Sindh.
Project Overview and Locations
The project aims to provide quality non-formal education to underserved communities. While several key management roles are based at the LRF Head Office in Karachi, the majority of field-based positions are located directly in Jacobabad and Kashmore to ensure effective grassroots implementation.
Available Positions and Requirements
1. Head Office Positions (Karachi-Based)
These roles are based in Karachi for a duration of 27 months and require individuals with strong management and analytical backgrounds.
Program Officer (01 Post): Requires a Master’s degree (preferred) in Development Studies or Social Sciences with at least 5 years of program management experience.
Program Assistant (01 Post): Requires a Master’s degree (preferred) and at least 3 years of experience in education projects.
Data Assistant (01 Post): Requires a minimum of a Graduation degree with skills in data collection, verification, and database management.
2. Field-Based Positions (Jacobabad & Kashmore)
These roles are vital for the direct implementation of the education project and offer a 24-month duration.
Admin Assistant (02 Posts – Male): Based in Jacobabad and Kashmore. Requires a Graduation degree and experience in logistics and office operations.
Quality Education Officer (04 Posts): Requires a Graduation degree. Responsibilities include monitoring education standards and providing technical support to teaching staff.
Teachers (80 Posts): A massive opportunity for local educators. These positions involve teaching the ALP curriculum (Sindhi/Urdu, English, Math, Science, and Social Studies) and mobilizing the community for student enrollment.
Eligibility and Preferences
