The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa KPK Workers Welfare Board (KPKWWB) has announced a scholarship scheme for the academic year 2024-2025 under the Directorate of Education. This initiative aims to provide financial assistance to students from workers’ families for various educational programs.
Scholarship Categories and Benefits
The scholarship scheme is divided into three categories based on the level of education and associated costs:
- Category I:
- Eligible Programs: TEVTA, NAVTTC, and NTB.
- Scholarship Amount: PKR 3,500 per month.
- Submission Deadline: October 31, 2024.
- Category II:
- Eligible: Intermediate and graduation.
- Scholarship Amount: PKR 4,500 per month.
- Submission Deadline: October 31, 2024.
- Category III:
- Eligible Programs: Postgraduate programs.
- Scholarship Amount: PKR 5,500 per month.
- Submission Deadline: October 31, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
- Family Income: The combined monthly income of the family should not exceed PKR 30,000.
How to Apply in KPK Workers Welfare Board Scholarship Scheme for 2024-2025
Applicants must submit their applications along with the necessary documents to the KPK Workers Welfare Board by the specified deadlines. The documents should include:
- A completed application form.
- Verified copies of academic certificates and transcripts.
- Proof of employment status of the applicant’s parent(s) or guardian(s).
- National Identity Card (CNIC) of the applicant and the parents/guardian.
- Recent passport-sized photographs.
Terms and Conditions
- Document Verification: All documents must be original and verified by the relevant authorities.
- Fund Reimbursement: The scholarship amount will be reimbursed to the students upon successful verification of their academic and employment status.
- Renewal: Scholarships are subject to renewal on an annual basis, contingent upon the student’s academic performance and adherence to the terms and conditions of the scheme.
Important Notes
- The KPK Workers Welfare Board reserves the right to amend or cancel the scholarship scheme without prior notice.
- Students already receiving scholarships from other sources are not eligible to apply for this scheme.
- Incomplete applications or those submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
