Karachi Metropolitan University (KMU) Announces Major Recruitment Drive for Senior Leadership and Other Positions

Karachi Metropolitan University (KMU), a newly established public sector university, has invited applications for a wide range of senior leadership, administrative, and technical positions. The university, situated in Block M, North Nazimabad, is seeking to build its core team to drive its vision of becoming a modern, entrepreneurial, and technology-driven institution.

This is a significant opportunity for experienced professionals to join a new university from the ground up and play a pivotal role in shaping its future. The university has openings for Directors, Managers, and various other roles on both a regular and contractual basis. The deadline for applications is October 27, 2025.

Senior Leadership Positions (BP S-20)

KMU is looking to fill several key Director-level positions to lead its core departments.

Director Works and ServicesNot more than 55 yearsQualification: Preferably MS in Civil Engineering, or a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Facility Management.<br>Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience post-qualification, including at least 5 years in managing constructions, maintenance, and infrastructure projects.
Director Human Resources (HR)Not more than 55 yearsQualification: Preferably PhD in Business Administration, Management Sciences, or HR, or an MBA/MS/MPhil in HRM (18 years).<br>Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience post-qualification, with at least 5 years in HR management, policy formulation, and organizational development.
