Join Punjab CNF: Major Recruitment Drive for Retired Army Personnel in August 2025
Lahore, Pakistan – A significant opportunity has been announced for retired army personnel domiciled in Punjab to join the newly established Punjab Counter Narcotics Force (Punjab CNF). A comprehensive selection schedule has been released for a recruitment drive taking place from August 18 to August 22, 2025, at the BX Stadium on Shami Road, Lahore.
This initiative is part of the Punjab government’s plan to establish a robust force to combat the narcotics trade, with narcotics control stations planned for every district in the province.
Eligibility Criteria: Open to Retired Army Personnel
This recruitment is exclusively for retired army personnel from Punjab. The required ranks and corresponding maximum age limits are as follows:
Subedar Major (Artillery/Infantry): 53 years
Naib Subedar (Artillery/Infantry): 51 years
Hawaldar (Artillery/Infantry): 47 years
Lance Hawaldar / Naik: 45 years
Sepoy / Lance Naik: 40 years
Driver: 42 years
Captain Sepoy / Naik: 45 years
Naib Subedar / Hawaldar Clerk: 50 years (for retired Junior Commissioned Officers)

Candidates must report to the BX Stadium, Shami Road, Lahore, by 05:30 AM on their designated day.
Monday, August 18, 2025:
For Ranks: Hawaldar, Naib Subedar, Subedar Major (Artillery/Infantry).
Activities: Physical Endurance Test (PET) begins at 05:30 AM. Successful candidates will proceed to registration, followed by written and psychological tests on the same day.
Tuesday, August 19, 2025:
For Ranks: Lance Hawaldar, Naik, Sepoy, Driver, Captain Sepoy.
Activities: Physical Endurance Test (PET) begins at 05:30 AM. Successful candidates will proceed to registration, followed by written and psychological tests on the same day.
Wednesday, August 20 & Friday, August 22, 2025:
Activity: Interviews for all candidates who successfully cleared the preceding tests.
Application Process and Required Documents
The application and registration process will take place on-site. Candidates are not required to submit a CV in advance but must bring the following documents (both originals and photocopies) with them:
Domicile Certificate
National Identity Card (CNIC)
Army Discharge Certificate
Army Course Reports
Curriculum Vitae (CV)
Four (4) recent passport-sized photographs with a blue background
Certificates of any awards or honors
Physical Fitness Form (PFF)
Important Instructions for All Candidates
Punctuality: All candidates must arrive at the venue by 05:30 AM on their specified date.
No TA/DA: No travel or daily allowance will be provided for attending the selection process.
Sequential Testing: Only candidates who pass the Physical Endurance Test (PET) will be eligible to sit for the written examination.
Eligibility Check: Candidates are strongly advised to verify their eligibility against the criteria before traveling to the selection venue. Anyone found ineligible at any stage will be immediately disqualified.
No Age Relaxation: The specified age limits are final and no relaxation will be granted.
Self-Sustenance: The department will not provide any accommodation or meals.
Who is Not Eligible to Apply?
The following individuals are NOT ELIGIBLE for this recruitment drive:
Those who exceed the specified age or weight limits.
Individuals discharged from the army on medical grounds (Category ‘C’) or by a medical board.
Retired personnel who are not residents of Punjab.
Individuals who have previously served in the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF).
Personnel whose official retirement date from the army is after June 30, 2021.
