Join Pakistan Army Jobs 2025: Recruitment for JCOs and Sepoys
The Pakistan Army has announced a major recruitment drive for the year 2025, inviting brave, patriotic, and dedicated Pakistani nationals to join its ranks. Available Positions and Eligibility Criteria
The recruitment is open for two main categories, each with specific requirements:
1. Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) / Naib Khateeb
This is a respected leadership role responsible for the religious and moral guidance of soldiers.
Nationality: Citizen of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, or Gilgit-Baltistan.
Marital Status: Married or Unmarried.
Age Limit: 20 to 28 years as of November 24, 2025.
Height: Minimum 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm).
Educational Qualification: Must have completed Dars-e-Nizami from a recognized Madrassa. A strong command of the Arabic language, grammar, and pronunciation is essential. Candidates with a BA/MA in Islamic Studies will be given preference.
2. Sepoy (Soldier)
This is the core fighting and support force of the army, with opportunities in various trades.
Nationality: Citizen of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, or Gilgit-Baltistan.
Marital Status: Unmarried.
Age Limit: 17.5 to 23 years as of November 24, 2025.
Educational Qualifications:
General Duty Sepoy: Matriculation or higher.
Clerk: Intermediate or higher. Preference for candidates with a computer diploma.
Cook: Middle pass or higher.
Sweeper/Sanitary Worker: Literate (Primary pass preferred).
Height Requirements:
Clerk, Cook, Sweeper: Minimum 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm).
General Duty Sepoy / Driver: Minimum 5 feet 6 inches (167.5 cm).
Military Police: Minimum 5 feet 8 inches (173 cm).
Special Age Relaxations for Sepoy Candidates
Graduates: A 1-year age relaxation (up to 24 years) is available for candidates holding a graduate degree or higher.
Families of Martyrs: A 2-year age relaxation (up to 25 years) is available for the sons of martyrs (Shaheeds) and war-wounded personnel.
Driving License Holders: A 2-year age relaxation (up to 25 years) is available for candidates with a valid driving license.
How to Apply: The Pak Army Selection Process
Candidates can register through two methods: online registration or by visiting an Army Selection and Recruitment Centre.
Online Registration
For JCO (Naib Khateeb): Candidates can register online at the official Pakistan Army website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk from August 25, 2025, to November 16, 2025.
Walk-in Registration at Recruitment Centres
Candidates for both JCO and Sepoy can visit their nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centre for registration from September 01, 2025, to November 23, 2025.
Recruitment Centres are located in: Gilgit, Peshawar, D.I. Khan, Muzaffarabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Quetta, Khuzdar, Turbat, Pano Aqil, Hyderabad, and Karachi.
Required Documents for Registration
Applicants must bring the following documents at the time of registration:
Original educational certificates and two sets of attested photocopies.
Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or Form-B if under 18.
Attested photocopy of father’s CNIC.
Domicile Certificate.
Four recent passport-sized photographs.
After successful registration, candidates will proceed through various stages of the selection process, including physical and medical tests, and interviews.
