Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Provide onsite and remote technical support for users, including executives.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, operating systems, software, and enterprise tools (e.g., SWIFT, Bloomberg).
Handle incidents via ticketing systems and escalate when needed to relevant teams.
2. System Configuration & Maintenance
Install, test, configure, and repair IT equipment: desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Support across multi-platform environments (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android).
Assist with software and system upgrades, patches, and device migrations.
3. Network & Security Compliance
Support endpoint security standards including firewalls, antivirus, VPNs, and patching.
Assist with compliance audits and ensure alignment with SBP’s IT policies and SOPs.
Monitor and support secure network connections, including VPN, RDP, SSL, and remote access tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, etc.).
4. Collaboration & Documentation
Work with cross-functional teams (network, system, security).
Provide support during BCP mock exercises and maintain updates at Business Continuity sites.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation and support logs.
5. Continuous Learning & Support
Keep up with emerging IT trends and suggest improvements.
Offer on-call and after-hours support as needed.
Assist during special events or webinars with relevant technology setup and troubleshooting.
Required Skills & Tools
The ideal candidate should be proficient in the following technologies and frameworks:
Operating Systems: Windows Server, Windows 10/11, MacOS
Networking & Security: VPN setup (SSL, OpenVPN), firewall configuration (Cisco, Fortinet), network security auditing
User Management: Active Directory, Group Policy Object (GPO), Identity & Access Management
Remote Support Tools: TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), ITIL-based issue resolution
Diagnostic & Ticketing Tools: Debugging, automated testing, ticketing platforms
Specialized Applications: Bloomberg, SWIFT (preferred but not mandatory)
Eligibility Criteria
Education
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (minimum 16 years of education) in:
Computer Science
Software Engineering
Information Systems
Computer Systems
Computer/Electrical/Electronics/Telecom Engineering
From HEC-recognized university (domestic or reputable foreign institution)
Experience
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in IT support or related technical role
Age Limit
Maximum age: 35 years (as of the advertisement date – July 9, 2025)
Age relaxation may be granted based on higher qualifications or extensive experience
