The Indus Resource Centre (IRC) is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals for two key positions at its head office in Karachi. Available Positions and Required Qualifications
1. HR Assistant (01 Position)
This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in human resources, preferably within the non-governmental organization (NGO) sector.
Qualifications: An MBA in HR or a Graduation in a relevant discipline from an HEC-recognized institution is required.
Experience: Candidates should have 04-05 years of relevant work experience, with a preference for those who have worked in local or international NGOs.
2. Procurement Assistant (01 Position)
This position is suited for professionals with expertise in supply chain management and procurement processes.
Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, with a Master’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field being preferable. The degree must be from an HEC-recognized institution.
Experience: Applicants should possess 04-05 years of relevant work experience.
Skills: Proficiency in MS Office is mandatory.
Job Roles and Responsibilities
HR Assistant:
The primary responsibility of the HR Assistant is to support the HR management of the organization. Key duties include, but are not limited to:
Preparing lists and hiring candidates.
Managing staff data and records of joiners and leavers.
Handling staff queries.
Providing support for EOBI (Employees’ Old-Age Benefits Institution) and payroll as per HR policies and procedures.
Procurement Assistant:
The Procurement Assistant will play a vital role in the organization’s procurement process. The main responsibilities include:
Assisting in the overall procurement process.
Negotiating with vendors.
Tracking and managing purchases.
Maintaining inventory levels.
Preparing Requests for Quotations (RFQs), reports, and other necessary documents.
