Ministry of National Health Services Seeks Top-Tier Professionals for Jinnah Medical Complex & Research Center
The Government of Pakistan’s Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination has announced vacancies for two key senior positions at the Jinnah Medical Complex & Research Center & Company in Islamabad. The ministry is seeking highly qualified and experienced individuals for the roles of Information & Technology Consultant and Chief Operating Officer (C.O.O) on a contract basis.
These positions offer a market-based pay package and are open until the completion of the project. The recruitment will be conducted on merit, inviting professionals with a proven track record to lead and innovate within the healthcare sector.
1. Information & Technology Consultant
This is a critical role responsible for steering the technological and digital transformation of the medical complex.

Age Limit: 50 to 63 years
Quota: Merit
Educational Qualification & Experience:
A Master of Science degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from a recognized local or international university.
A minimum of 20 years of experience in large-scale healthcare ICT and low-voltage infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated expertise in managing SMART hospital systems and overseeing digital health transformations.
Familiarity with major Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
An in-depth understanding of international standards such as TIA/EIA, ISO, NFPA, IEEE, and HTM/HBN.
Certification in facilities management will be preferred.
2. Chief Operating Officer (C.O.O)
The Chief Operating Officer will hold a senior leadership position, managing the overall operations and strategic direction of the institution.

Educational Qualification & Experience:
A medical degree from a reputable and recognized university.
A Master’s degree in Public Health or Management Sciences from a reputable and recognized university.
At least 10 years of experience in senior management roles within the healthcare sector, including a minimum of 5 years in the most senior or leadership positions.
A background in reputable large-scale healthcare institutions or organizations.
Experience in a JCIA (Joint Commission International) accredited hospital will be given preference.
Strong knowledge of JCIA-based hospital policies and procedures.
