Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan Announces Vacancies for Heads of Seerat Chairs
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has launched an initiative to establish Seerat Chairs aimed at conducting scholarly research on various aspects of the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). These Chairs are designed to offer educational programs focused on key themes related to Islamic teachings and scholarship, particularly in the fields of governance, social justice, business, and peace. HEC is now inviting applications from qualified Islamic scholars for the prestigious positions of Heads of Seerat Chairs.
Available Seerat Chair Themes:
- Leadership and Governance
- Qualifications & Experience:
- A PhD in a relevant field, with a focus on Governance, Leadership, Public Policy, Public Administration, or Political Science.
- Candidates must have published research in areas related to the theme of Leadership and Governance with reputed publishers.
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Human Rights, Social Justice, and Welfare
- Qualifications & Experience:
- A PhD in Human Rights, Law, International Humanitarian Law, Social Welfare, Social Work, Social Justice, or Activism.
- Candidates must have published research on these subjects with well-recognized publishers.
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Business, Commerce, and Property Rights
- Qualifications & Experience:
- A PhD in Management Sciences, Economics, Business Administration, or Intellectual Property Rights.
- Research publications on relevant themes with reputable publishers are essential.
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Education and Knowledge
- Qualifications & Experience:
- A PhD with a focus on Education, Educational Leadership, Knowledge Management, Equity and Innovation in Education, or Cognitive and Cultural Systems.
- Candidates must have strong research records in the related field published by recognized publishers.
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Gender Studies and Women’s Rights
- Qualifications & Experience:
- A PhD in Gender Studies, Women’s Rights, or Women Development.
- Applicants must demonstrate research work in the area of women’s rights and gender studies published by reputed publishers.
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Global Peace
- Qualifications & Experience:
- A PhD in International Relations, Conflict Resolution, Political Science, Counterterrorism, Strategic Studies, or Global Peace Studies.
- Research publications in the relevant thematic areas are required.
