Government of Sindh Announces Consultant Positions for National Health Support Program
Health Department Government of Sindh has announced latest jobs 2024 The Government of Sindh’s Health Department, under the Program Management Unit (PMU) for the National Health Support Program, is offering exciting career opportunities for professionals through a Request for Expression of Interest (EOI). Supported by the International Development Association (IDA) and the World Bank, this program aims to enhance healthcare delivery and strengthen the National Health Support System in Sindh Province. The PMU is seeking highly qualified and experienced individuals for a variety of consultant roles on a contract basis.
Available Positions and Requirements
- Public Health Specialist (PPS-10)
- Qualifications: MBBS with a Master’s degree in Health Policy, Management, Public Health, or an equivalent field.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in health services, public health program development, or program implementation. Knowledge of health regulations and analytical skills are essential.
- Surveillance and Research Specialist (PPS-09)
- Qualifications: MBBS with a Master’s in Health Policy, Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or an equivalent field.
- Experience: At least 10 years in Health Program Research and Surveillance. Proficiency in SPSS, SAS, STATA, and report writing is required.
- Communication Specialist (PPS-09)
- Qualifications: Master’s degree in Media, Communications, Public Administration, or Social Sciences.
- Experience: 12 years in communications within government or non-governmental organizations, with strong skills in messaging and media content creation.
- Financial Management Specialist (PPS-09)
- Qualifications: Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, ACCA, CA, or CMA.
- Experience: 10 years in financial management, particularly with donor-funded projects, including proficiency in report writing and budget management.
- Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist (PPS-09)
- Qualifications: Master’s in Statistics, Economics, Public Health, or Management Sciences.
- Experience: 10 years in M&E, with expertise in monitoring, evaluation, and analytical skills. Proficiency in SPSS, SAS, and report preparation is required.
- Gender-cum-Training Specialist (PPS-09)
- Qualifications: Master’s in Gender Studies, Sociology, or Anthropology.
- Experience: 10 years in gender-specific program areas, such as gender-based violence and grievance management. Experience with gender-sensitive strategies and training plan development is necessary.
