1. Community/Social Mobilizer

  • Place of Posting: HAND District Offices in Sanghar, Ghotki, Umerkot, Dadu, SBA, Jacobabad (1 position each)
  • No. of Positions: 6 (Male)
  • Age Limit: 25-40 Years
  • Reporting Line: DPM
  • Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree
  • Experience: 3 years
  • Skills Required: Good communication, listening, and facilitation skills

Job Description:

  • Data entry of MWRAs and Family Planning clients daily
  • Ensure the supply of FP and other medical goods to MWs
  • Identify stakeholders/Notables for advocacy training
  • Organize stakeholder sensitization sessions at the community level
  • Develop a follow-up mechanism for stakeholder sessions
  • Organize and facilitate DO team for health-related events at the district level
  • Support DFM in the distribution of MWs stipend
  • Maintain record-keeping of FP and other medicines at the district level
  • Assist the community in obtaining information from governmental and non-governmental agencies
  • Perform related work as required
  • Additional duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor

2. Lady Health Visitors

  • Place of Posting: HAND District Offices in Sanghar (6), Ghotki (5), Dadu (5), Umerkot (3), SBA (4), Jacobabad (4)
  • No. of Positions: 27 (Female)
  • Age Limit: 25-40 Years
  • Reporting Line: DPM
  • Qualification: 2-year Diploma in LHV Course registered with PNC, Midwifery/LHW course/CMW
  • Experience: 2-3 years
  • Skills Required: Good knowledge of primary health care

Job Description:

  • Provide antenatal, natal, postnatal, post-abortion care, and neonatal services at the health facility
  • Attend all project-related trainings
  • Maintain records of equipment, supplies, and medicines
  • Ensure cleanliness and infection prevention in the delivery area
  • Supervise proper disposal of hospital waste
  • Attend monthly progress review meetings
  • Communicate with the Medical Officer/DPM on field-related activities
  • Manage the day-to-day medical service
  • Submit regular reports to the concerned supervisor
  • Perform related work as required and assigned by the immediate supervisor

3. Data Operator

  • Place of Posting: HAND District Offices in SBA (1), Jacobabad (1)
  • No. of Positions: 2 (Male)
  • Age Limit: 25-40 Years
  • Reporting Line: DPM
  • Qualification: Graduate in Computer Science, IT/equivalent
  • Experience: 2-3 years of work experience as Data Operator
  • Skills Required: Aptitude for financial reporting, knowledge of IT software, and analytical skills

Job Description:

  • Perform data entry using a personal computer and appropriate software
  • Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of recorded information
  • Prepare and enter data into the data processing system
  • Review data for accuracy
  • Generate reports for review
  • Provide clerical and administrative support for other projects/programs
  • Perform quality control checks on data
  • Facilitate annual procurement audits and other reviews
  • Additional duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor

4. Data Manager

  • Reporting Line: DPM
  • Qualification: Master’s in Computer Science, IT/equivalent
  • Experience: 2-3 years of work experience as a Data Manager
  • Skills Required: Interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills, aptitude for financial reporting, knowledge of IT software, and analytical skills

Job Description:

  • Oversee data acquisition, organization, and management
  • Develop and implement data management policies and procedures
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security
  • Design and maintain databases and data systems
  • Manage data integration projects
  • Conduct data analysis to support decision-making
  • Prepare and present reports and visualizations
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in data management

5. District Project Manager

  • Place of Posting: HAND District Offices in SBA (1), Jacobabad (1)
  • No. of Positions: 2 (Female)
  • Age Limit: 25-40 Years
  • Reporting Line: DEM/Project Manager/HoD Health
  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, International Development, or a related field
  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in project management, preferably in public health or family planning
  • Skills Required: Strong project management, communication, leadership, and knowledge of FP issues and programs

Job Description:

  • Plan, implement, and manage project activities at the district level
  • Develop and conceptualize program development plans
  • Develop structures and processes for project implementation and HR management
  • Monitor program administration, financial management, and procurement
  • Provide guidance and support to the project team
  • Facilitate and monitor the development of district-specific field plans
  • Coordinate with district management and line departments
  • Engage with key stakeholders for effective project implementation
  • Establish robust monitoring and grievance management systems
  • Liaise with donors/partners for day-to-day activities

6. Consultant

  • Place of Posting: Head Office Karachi
  • No. of Positions: 1 (Male/Female)
  • Age Limit: 30-55 Years
  • Reporting Line: Chief of Party WGS/Head of Department/Chief WASH
  • Qualification: Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Public Policy, CFA, CA, ACMA
  • Experience: Qualified PPP practitioner with at least 10 years’ experience in establishing and managing PPP projects
  • Skills Required: Financial and economic model development, market analysis, communication, and report writing

Objectives and Scope of Work:

  • Provide PPP support in all aspects (technical, legal, and financial) to the HANDS-WGS Activity, PPP, MCJ, and LGD PPP Unit
  • Develop guidelines and ToRs for PPP Node members
  • Develop PPP operational guidelines
  • Identify and assess potential PPP projects
  • Prepare procurement documents for consultants and advisors
  • Provide specialist technical support and training to staff
  • Engage with stakeholders and ensure effective project implementation
