Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the HANDS Summer Internship Program, applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled in a university.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in community development and social work.

Learning Outcomes
Through this internship, participants will:

Program Structure
Orientation and Training
Interns will undergo an initial orientation session where they will be introduced to HANDS’ mission, values, and the specifics of their assigned projects. Training sessions will cover essential topics such as project management, community engagement, and effective communication.
Project Work
Interns will work on various community development projects, which may include:
- Health Initiatives: Assisting in health camps, awareness campaigns, and data collection.
- Educational Programs: Supporting school activities, tutoring, and developing educational materials.
- Livelihood Projects: Engaging in skills development workshops, and economic empowerment initiatives.
Mentorship and Support
Each intern will be assigned a mentor who will provide guidance and support throughout the program. Regular check-ins and feedback sessions will ensure that interns are on track and gaining the most from their experience.
Final Report and Certification
To successfully complete the internship, interns must:
- Maintain at least 70% attendance.
- Submit a comprehensive final report detailing their experiences, learnings, and contributions to their projects.
Upon successful completion, interns will receive a certificate from HANDS, recognizing their contributions and the skills they have developed.
