BISP Online Registration:

This service is particularly beneficial for individuals who have not yet registered for the program or completed their survey under the 8171 survey program. Despite receiving repeated messages on the 8171 portal urging them to complete the survey, some individuals may still not have done so. For such cases, the hassle of visiting the office is now eliminated. Instead, their households will be surveyed, and comprehensive details will be provided to them.
This new update from the Benazir Income Support Program, initiated by the Government of Pakistan, allows registration from the comfort of one’s home. Many women previously faced challenges visiting offices due to overcrowding, and some individuals with newly issued ID cards also encountered difficulties in registration. Some resorted to bribery, while others faced delays in survey completion. However, with the ongoing month of Ramadan bringing added challenges, the government has taken a significant step to simplify the process. Now, individuals can register from home without the need to visit the office.
BISP Online Registration at Home:
The Government of Pakistan has introduced a new initiative under the Benazir Income Support Program, where vans will visit various areas to facilitate registration for the program. Initially, this initiative was limited to Balochistan province, but now it has been extended to Punjab as well. Additional vans have been deployed to cover more areas efficiently. Registration has already commenced, starting from Lahore and subsequently expanding to Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, and Rahim Yar Khan. Individuals can register themselves and their children without needing to visit an office. The registration process is underway, with teams from the Benazir Income Support Program conducting registrations across Pakistan. Only individuals with valid identity cards will be eligible for registration. After registration, applicants will undergo a verification process, and upon successful verification, they will become eligible to receive the Rs. 10,500 installment.
BISP Registration Check by CNIC:
Unfortunately, there is currently no online method to directly check BISP registration status by CNIC. However, there are two alternative options to determine potential eligibility:
- 8171 Web Portal: Visit the 8171 Web Portal (https://www.8171updats.pk/) and enter your CNIC number along with the provided code. This will indicate if your family is potentially eligible for BISP.
- SMS to 8171: Send an SMS with your CNIC number to 8171. You will receive a reply message indicating your family’s eligibility status for the program.
