FAB Jobs 2025: Frequency Allocation Board Announces New Vacancies
The Government of Pakistan’s Frequency Allocation Board (FAB) has announced new job openings for a PSDP-funded project titled “Establishment of Islamabad Monitoring Station Housing FAB HQ’s Building.” Applications are invited from eligible candidates to fill these positions, which are based in Islamabad.
The posts are being offered purely on a contract basis, with an initial contract period of two (02) years, which can be further extended for the life of the project. This is a great opportunity for qualified professionals to join a significant government project.
Available Job Positions and Eligibility Criteria
FAB is seeking dedicated individuals for the following roles. The eligibility criteria for each post are detailed below:
1. Assistant Director (Civil) (PPS-7)
Number of Positions: 01
Minimum Age Limit: 28 years
Eligibility Criteria:
Qualification: BSc. Civil Engineering from an HEC-accredited University.
Experience: A minimum of 05 years of field experience in Construction / Planning construction activity.
Skills: Must be proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel, and Primavera – P6.
Age Relaxation: A 02-year age relaxation is available for M.Sc qualified Civil Engineers.
2. Assistant (PPS-4)
Number of Positions: 01
Minimum Age Limit: 25 years
Eligibility Criteria:
Qualification: BA/BSc.
Experience: A minimum of 02 years’ experience in Government or private sectors. Alternatively, 15 years of service for retired Armed Forces personnel is acceptable.
Skills: Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
3. Junior Assistant (PPS-3)
Number of Positions: 01
Minimum Age Limit: 25 years
Eligibility Criteria:
Qualification: FA/FSC.
Experience: A minimum of 02 years’ experience. Preference will be given to retired Armed Forces personnel.
Skills: Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
4. Driver (PPS-2)
Number of Positions: 02
Minimum Age Limit: 25 years
Eligibility Criteria:
Qualification: Matriculation.
Experience: Having 02 years of experience in Government or Private sectors.
License: Must possess a valid driving license (Federal / Punjab LTV/HTV).
