Frequency Allocation Board (FAB) Announces Job Openings for Islamabad HQ Building Project
The Government of Pakistan’s Frequency Allocation Board (FAB) has invited applications from qualified and experienced professionals for various project-based positions. The vacancies are for the “Establishment of Islamabad Monitoring Station Housing FAB HQ’s Building” project in Islamabad.
The appointments will be project-based, with contracts awarded for an initial period of two (02) years on the Project Pay Scale (PPS). Selected candidates will have no claim to regularization in FAB at any stage. However, if the project continues beyond the initial term, the contract may be extended until its completion. Open Positions and Eligibility Criteria
FAB is seeking to fill the following roles for its new headquarters building project:
1. Assistant Director (Civil)
Pay Scale: PPS-7 (equivalent to BPS-17)
Gross Salary: Rs. 157,500/-
Minimum Age: 28 years
Qualification:
BSc Civil Engineering with a minimum 3.5 CGPA or 75% aggregate from an HEC-accredited university.
Essential Experience:
Minimum 5-year field experience in planning or execution of construction projects in the public/private sector.
Proficient in MS Project, MS Office, Primavera-P6, and official correspondence.
A valid PEC registration.
Preferred:
Experience with public/private sector.
MSc in Civil / Structural Engineering.
2. Assistant
Pay Scale: PPS-4 (equivalent to BPS-11)
Gross Salary: Rs. 52,500/-
Minimum Age: 25 years
Qualification:
Bachelor’s / Graduation (1st Division).
Essential Experience:
Minimum 2-year relevant experience in the public/private sector.
Proficient in MS Office and official correspondence.
Preferred:
Master’s degree (Admin / Project Management).
3. Junior Assistant
Pay Scale: PPS-3 (equivalent to BPS-9)
Gross Salary: Rs. 43,750/-
Minimum Age: 25 years
Qualification:
Intermediate (1st Division).
Essential Experience:
Minimum 2-year experience in a clerical/administrative support role in the public/private sector.
Proficient in MS Office.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree.
4. Driver
Pay Scale: PPS-2 (equivalent to BPS-5)
Gross Salary: Rs. 35,000/-

Qualification:
Matriculation.
Essential Experience:
Minimum 2-year experience in driving cars in the public/private sector.
A valid LTV license.
Preferred:
Intermediate qualification.
