Free IT Certifications Under the People’s Information Technology Programme by the Government of Sindh
The Government of Sindh’s Information, Science & Technology Department has launched an exceptional initiative aimed at empowering the youth of Sindh with in-demand IT skills.
Objective of the Programme
The primary goal of this programme is to equip the youth with practical skills and certifications that not only enhance their knowledge but also make them highly competitive in the job market.
IT Certification Programmes Offered
Participants can enroll in a variety of certification programmes, including:
- Certified Java Developer
- Certified Python Developer
- Certified Database Administrator
- Certified Graphic Designer
- Certified E-Commerce Professional
- Certified Digital Marketing Professional
- Certified Web Developer
- Certified Mobile Application Developer
- Certified Data Scientist
Venues & Delivery Method
The courses will be conducted physically at prominent universities across Sindh:
- Karachi Division & Tharparkar District: NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi
- Sukkur, Larkana, & Shaheed Benazirabad Divisions: Sukkur IBA University, Sukkur
- Hyderabad & Mirpurkhas (Except Tharparkar District) Divisions: Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro

Programme Details
- Duration: Each certification lasts for 2 months.
- Timing: Classes will be conducted from Monday to Friday, 3 hours per day.
- Number of Participants: 10,000+ across all courses.
- Class Size: 30-35 participants per batch.
- Certification Requirement: Minimum 2 courses must be completed.
Eligibility
- Educational Requirement: Minimum HSC or equivalent.
- Age Limit: Maximum 22 years.
