Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC) Announces Two-Year Apprenticeship Program for 2025

Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC) Limited has invited applications for its two-year Apprenticeship Program under the Apprenticeship Act. The training will take place at FFC’s Fertilizer Plants located in Goth Machhi, Sadiqabad (Distt. Rahim Yar Khan), Mirpur Mathelo (Distt. Ghotki), and Port Qasim (Karachi).

Available Trades and Minimum Qualifications

The apprenticeship program is offered in the following trades, each with specific qualification requirements:

  • Chemical Plant Operator: Matric (Science) with F.Sc or a Three Years Diploma of Associate Engineering in Chemical Technology.

  • Mechanical Technician: Matric (Science) with a Three Years Diploma of Associate Engineering in Mechanical Technology.

  • Instrument Technician: Matric (Science) with a Three Years Diploma of Associate Engineering in Instrument or Electronics Technologies.

  • Electrical Technician: Matric (Science) with a Three Years Diploma of Associate Engineering in Electrical Technology.

  • Civil Technician: Matric (Science) with a Three Years Diploma of Associate Engineering in Civil Technology.

  • Laboratory Analyst: F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering).

  • Computer Operator: ICS with a one-year IT Diploma or a Three Years Diploma in IT.

Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

To be considered for the FFC Apprenticeship Program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Age Limit: Candidates must not be over 28 years of age as of February 5, 2026.

  • Academic Requirement: Must have at least a 2nd division in Matric (Science) along with the relevant qualification for the chosen trade.

  • Ineligibility:

    • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Engineering Degree holders are not eligible to apply.

    • Individuals who are already undergoing or have completed an apprenticeship in any industry need not apply.

  • Application Rule: Candidates must apply for only one trade. Duplicate applications will not be entertained.

  • Information Accuracy: Providing any false or incomplete information may lead to disqualification at any stage of the process.

A Step-by-Step Guide on How to Apply

The application process is divided into two mandatory steps:

Step 1: Registration on the FFC Career Portal

  1. Register and submit your bio-data and academic qualifications (SSC/HSSC/Diploma) on the FFC Career Portal at careers.ffc.com.pk.

  2. The deadline for registration on the FFC portal is October 26, 2025.

  3. To submit your resume, you must click the “I Accept” button under the Statement of Declaration and then select your desired trade by clicking “Apply.”

Step 2: Application for NTS Written Test

  1. After registering on the FFC portal, you must apply online for the written test via the NTS website: www.nts.org.pk.

  2. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by NTS to appear for the written test at the nearest available test center.

  3. NTS will conduct tests on two separate dates, and candidates can choose to appear in either:

    • 1st Test Date: September 7, 2025

    • 2nd Test Date: October 5, 2025

  4. The test fee can be paid through any 1Link 1Bill participating banks, ATM, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, EasyPaisa, Jazz Cash, or TCS Express Counters by downloading the fee challan/deposit slip from the NTS website.

The Selection Process: From NTS Test to Final Interview

Candidates who successfully qualify in the NTS Test and have also applied on the FFC careers portal will be called for final interviews. These interviews will be held at four locations: FFC Plantsite Goth Machhi, Sadiqabad, Lahore, and Karachi.

Candidates appearing for the final interviews will be reimbursed for their travel and daily allowance (TA/DA) as per the company’s policy.
