1. Universal Services Officer

Department/Division: Branch Banking/Retail Banking Group
Reports to: Branch Operations Manager

Job Description:
As a Universal Services Officer, you will handle a wide range of customers’ financial and non-financial transactions while adhering to the bank’s internal procedures, compliance, and regulations to ensure a high level of customer experience.

Principal Accountabilities:

Enhance customer experience by providing quality service within defined turnaround time (TATs) – 10%
Perform and manage transactions in line with Branch Operations Manual, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) guidelines – 10%
Manage all cash-related transactions, including deposits, payments, utility bill collections, and home remittance transactions – 20%
Handle customers’ requests related to Bankers Cheque, call deposit receipt, and Rupee Travelers cheque – 15%
Manage inward and outward clearing, scrutinize instruments, track collection schedules, and prepare check return memos – 15%
Perform transactions related to internal funds transfer and General Ledger (GL) entries, including managing cheque books and ATM replenishment – 10%
Perform daily reconciliation of all activities to ensure transaction accuracy and legitimacy – 10%
Coordinate reconciliation of entries with other branches and prepare periodic MIS reports – 10%

Knowledge and Experience:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from a reputable university
Knowledge of banking operations
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure

2. Customer Services Officer

Department: Privilege Banking
Reports to: Branch Manager Privilege Banking

Job Description:
Deliver world-class client experience at MCB Privilege Banking branches by serving Privilege clients with distinction in a bright environment while adhering to operational controls.

Principal Accountabilities:

Provide greet and assist service to walk-in clients ensuring they receive the desired service standard – 20%
Resolve Privilege client issues, complaints, and queries at the branch level – 10%
Execute Service Quality standards to enable Privilege deliver world-class experience – 10%
Drive services processes such as account statements, PIN generation support, and cheque book issuance – 5%
Organize weekly updates and monthly service huddles, recording action points for closure – 10%
Learn banking, consumer finance, and wealth management products to effectively deepen client relationships – 10%
Maintain branch notice board and fixtures to present the best structured banking experience – 5%
Ensure cleanliness and a welcoming environment for the branch – 5%
Partner with Branch Manager and team for effective relationship management – 15%
Support Branch Manager in reaching out to prospective clients and contributing to business growth – 10%

Knowledge and Experience:

Graduate from a recognized university (preferably Masters in Business/Related Subject)
1-2 years of banking/branch experience
High integrity, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure

3. Relationship Manager

Department/Division: Branch Banking RBG
Reports to: Branch Manager

Job Description:
Responsible for achieving the assigned branch banking sales target by generating deposits through new customers and deepening existing portfolios. Actively cross-sell other consumer products.

Principal Accountabilities:

Achieve defined targets on a monthly basis through potential and new customers – 30%
Increase the existing portfolio through effective relationship management – 20%
Cross-sell all other consumer banking products (Credit Cards, Auto Loans, Bancassurance, and personal loans) – 15%
Make calls and visits to clients to ensure smooth relationships and maintain call reports – 10%
Maintain high service quality standards during customer interactions – 15%
Ensure compliance with local policies, SOPs, and SBP regulations, including AML/CFT requirements – 10%

Knowledge and Experience:

MBA (Accounting & Finance) or 4-year graduation with knowledge of banking products and processes
0 to 2 years of banking experience
Strong interpersonal skills, good communication, and the ability to work under pressure
