Situation Vacant: Legal Consultant at Election Commission of Pakistan
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Legal Consultant on a contract basis. The initial contract duration is for two years, extendable based on satisfactory performance. The position offers a competitive salary package, with pay negotiable between Rs. 125,000 to Rs. 150,000.
Position Details:
- Title: Legal Consultant
- Qualification: LLM/LLB with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in the legal field.
- Age Limit: Maximum of 45 years.

Job Description:
The Legal Consultant will be responsible for:
- Handling all legal matters related to the Supreme Court and High Courts.
- Managing cases in all other courts, forums, and tribunals.
- Offering legal opinions on constitutional and legal matters.
- Assisting with any legal work as required by the Commission.
This role will also require close work with the Election Commission of Pakistan on various legal matters.
Disqualifications:
- Individuals dismissed from Government service or involved in moral or financial impropriety are not eligible.
- The position is not open to individuals convicted of offenses involving moral turpitude.
Conflict of Interest:
- Applicants must retire or resign from their current employment before joining and submit an affidavit declaring non-involvement in any conflicting business or job.
