The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced multiple job openings for the post of Assistant Election Commissioner (BS-17).

Position Title: Assistant Election Commissioner
Basic Scale: BS-17
Total Vacancies: 27
Place of Posting: Anywhere in Pakistan
Maximum Age Limit: 30 years (plus 5 years general age relaxation)
Educational Qualification and Experience
Applicants must have one of the following qualifications:
- MA/MSc (2nd Division)
OR - BA (Hons)/BSc (Hons), B.Com (Hons) (2nd Division), or LLB (5 years) (2nd Division)
OR - LLB (3 years) with two years’ government service experience
OR - BA/BSc (2nd Division) with two years’ experience in any government organization
Quota-Wise Distribution
- Merit: 2 posts
- Punjab: 10 posts (including 1 for women,
- Sindh (Urban): 3 posts
- Sindh (Rural): 3 posts
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 5 posts
- Ex-FATA: 1 post
- AJK: 1 post

- Deadline: Within 20 days of advertisement publication in newspapers
Hard Copy Submission:
- Send a hard copy of the application (prescribed form), along with:

- CNIC
- Recent passport-size photograph
- Domicile
- Relevant experience certificates
- Send to P.O. Box No. 1418 within 30 days of publication
