The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP), under the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination, has announced job openings under advertisement number 02/2024. DRAP seeks applications from qualified and experienced Pakistani citizens to fill various high-level positions.

- Director (RO-15)
- No. of Positions: 4 (Technical)
- Service Cadre Distribution:
- Technical Division: 1 post (Punjab)
- Legal Affairs: 1 post (Punjab)
- Admin, HR & Logistics: 1 post (Punjab)
- Budget & Accounts, Costing & Pricing: 1 post (Punjab)
- Age Limit: Maximum of 52 years
- Qualifications:
- For Technical Division: Ph.D. in Pharmacy or related field with 10 years of pharmaceutical experience, or a Master’s/M.Phil. with 13 years of experience.
- For Legal Affairs: Ph.D. in Law with 10 years of legal experience in the pharmaceutical field or M.Phil./LLM with 13 years or Bar-at-Law with 15 years.
- For Admin, HR & Logistics: Ph.D. in HR Management/Public Administration with 10 years of experience, M.Phil. with 13 years, or a Master’s degree with 15 years of relevant experience.
- For Budget & Accounts, Costing & Pricing: Ph.D. in Accountancy with 10 years or Cost and Management Accountant/Chartered Accountant with 13 years, or MBA/M.Com with 15 years in pharmaceutical costing.
- Deputy Director (RO-13)
- No. of Positions: 3 (Technical)
- Service Cadre Distribution:
- Technical Division: 1 post (Punjab – Women), 1 post (Sindh – Urban), 1 post (Balochistan)
- Age Limit: Maximum of 40 years
- Qualifications: Ph.D. in Pharmacy or related field with 2 years of experience, Master’s/M.Phil. with 4 years, or Pharm-D/B-Pharmacy with 6 years.
General Instructions for Applicants
- Public Sector Employees: Those employed in government or semi-government departments must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the interview.
- Conflict of Interest: As per Section 18 of the DRAP Act 2012, candidates with financial or professional conflicts in the pharmaceutical industry are ineligible. Immediate family members of senior officials or owners of therapeutic goods businesses are also disqualified.
- Verification and Background Checks: DRAP will verify candidates’ academic and professional records. In case of false information, selection will be canceled, and legal proceedings initiated.
- Medical Examination: Selected candidates will undergo a full medical examination by the Federal Government’s medical board.
How to Apply
- Online Registration: Visit the HEC ETC portal at http://etc.hec.gov.pk.
- Profile Completion: Complete your profile using the “My Profile” section, then apply for the desired position under the “Test Name” link.
- Application Mode: Only fully submitted applications will be accepted. Applications in “SAVE” or “INCOMPLETE” mode will be rejected.
Payment of Test Fee
- Test Fee: The non-refundable and non-transferable fee must be paid via 1Link 1Bill Invoice using participating banks, ATMs, internet banking, mobile banking, or Jazz Cash/U Paisa.
- Verification of Payment: After payment, verify your transaction on the ETC Dashboard. Incomplete payments will not be accepted.
Important Notes
- Documentation: Bring your roll number slip and original CNIC/passport to the test center. Without these documents, entry will be denied.
- No TA/DA: DRAP does not provide travel or daily allowances for test participation.
- Right to Withdraw: DRAP reserves the right to withdraw positions at any stage during the recruitment process.
