Government of Sindh Jobs 2026: Computer Operator (BPS-12) Vacancies in Reclamation & Probation Department

The Directorate of Reclamation and Probation, Sindh, an attached wing of the Home Department, Government of Sindh, has officially announced multiple career opportunities for the post of Computer Operator (BPS-12). Applications are invited from qualified candidates possessing a domicile of Sindh Province and a Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC).

This recruitment drive is aimed at filling vacant positions under a strictly defined urban and rural quota distribution system.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

Interested applicants must fulfill the following technical and general requirements:

1. Educational Profile

Option A: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (IT) with at least a 2nd Division or equivalent CGPA from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Option B: Minimum 2nd Division Intermediate (or equivalent qualification) along with a formal Diploma in IT / Computer Science from an institute recognized by the Board of Technical Education.

2. Age Limit

Age Bracket: 21 to 28 years (on the closing date of the application).
Age Relaxation: A general age relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit is applicable as per the Sindh Government Civil Services Rules, 2024, and matching administrative orders.

Mandatory Instructions & General Conditions

Test Certification (STS): Candidates must have passed the Graduation/Intermediate Category General Screening Test administered by IBA Sukkur Testing Services (STS) with at least 40% marks. Holding a valid, active STS certificate is mandatory for these appointments.
Government Service Personnel: Applicants already in government service must apply through the proper channel and secure an official No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their parent department. The original NOC must be presented during the interview.
Governance Framework: Appointed candidates will be governed by the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973, and subsequent rules/policies formulated by the Government of Sindh.
Document Verification: Only original documents—including CNIC, academic transcripts, Sindh Domicile, PRC (Form-D), and verified experience credentials—should be produced during the departmental selection committee interview.
