Eligibility Criteria: Qualification and Experience

The core eligibility requires a minimum of a 16-year degree (Second Class or Grade ‘B’ or 2.7/4.0 CGPA) in Computer Science/IT from an HEC-recognized institution, along with relevant post-qualification experience.

For SPS-18 Positions (Deputy Director):

  • Experience: Ranges from 5 years (for Developer roles) to 8-10 years (for SOC Manager, Domain Expert, and System roles).

  • Preferred Certifications:

    • Developers: Oracle Certified Professional (Java), Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional.

    • Domain Expert/Network Security: CCNA, CCNP, NSE, JNCIA, CISSP, CISM.

    • SOC Manager: CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CEH, CompTIA Security+.

    • Systems & Storage: MCSE, MCP, RHCSA, VMWare.

For SPS-17 Position (Assistant Director – Android Developer):

  • Experience: 2 years of post-qualification experience.

  • Certification: A Mobile Application Developer certification is preferred.

Note: The SOC Manager role has a broader educational acceptance, including degrees in Information Security, Engineering, or related disciplines.
