BISP Seeks Individual Consultants for Lead Data Scientist and WAN Specialist Roles

1. Lead Data Scientist (01 Position)

    • Equivalent in Computer Sciences/Engineering/IT degree/Computer Science with preferred subjects of discrete mathematics, Algorithm Design, etc. from an HEC-recognized University/Institution.

  • Experience:

    • A minimum of 07 years of hands-on experience in Data Analytics.

    • Experience from certified software development and product companies is preferred.

    • Must have prior experience in taking over and enhancing code-intensive applications.

    • Knowledge and experience using MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases is desirable.

    • Knowledge and experience in JAVA is preferable.

    • A proven ability to work in a collaborative, multi-tier team environment.

2. WAN Specialist (01 Position)

  • Qualification:

    • Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science/IT or any related field from an HEC-recognized university.

  • Experience:

    • Proven experience of more than 6-8 years in the field of Internetworking covering LAN, WAN, Intranet, and extranet.

    • An overall experience of more than 12 years.

    • Good knowledge and proven capabilities of wireless communication and fiber cable terminations.

    • Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting routing, switching, and security.

    • Experience with inter-site communications using VPN, SSH, SSL, and multi-factor dynamic authentication protocols.

    • Hands-on experience in managing PKI infrastructure.
