Key Engineering and Technical Vacancies
Attock Petroleum is looking to hire senior officers in three specialized domains to ensure the smooth and safe operation of its new facility.
Senior Officer (Mechanical)
The Mechanical Senior Officer will be responsible for the physical integrity and reliability of the plant’s equipment. Key responsibilities include:
Performing maintenance and troubleshooting of LPG bottling and storage equipment, including pumps, compressors, valves, filling machines, and fire pumping units.
Conducting preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
Ensuring strict compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
Supporting daily plant operations, such as cylinder filling and supervising the maintenance workshop.
Maintaining accurate records of all inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
Assisting with the installation, commissioning, and upgrades of equipment.
Collaborating with engineers and other technical staff to resolve issues and providing training to junior staff.
Senior Officer (Chemical)
The Chemical Senior Officer will oversee the operational processes and safety protocols related to LPG handling. Key responsibilities include:
Preparing daily progress and sales reports.
Operating and maintaining LPG storage, loading, and unloading systems, including tanks and pipelines.
Performing routine inspections and maintenance, and reporting any potential issues.
Ensuring strict compliance with all LPG safety regulations, SOPs, and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Monitoring and recording system parameters such as pressure, temperature, and volume for safe operations.
Maintaining technical records, preparing reports, and supporting safety audits.
Collaborating with HSE, engineering, and operations teams to optimize system performance and provide technical support.
Senior Officer (Electrical/Instrumentation)
The Electrical/Instrumentation Senior Officer will manage the plant’s sophisticated control and electrical systems. Key responsibilities include:
Calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting all instrumentation and control systems.
Performing preventive and corrective maintenance of PLC, digital control valves, DCS, and other allied control systems.
Maintaining LPG cylinder filling and bottling machines.
Monitoring system performance, alarms, and data trends to ensure smooth operations.
Assisting in the installation, testing, commissioning, and upgrades of systems.
Troubleshooting faults in control loops, alarms, and safety systems.
Ensuring the plant remains free from electrical faults and maintaining a flame-proof culture.
Conducting periodic checks of the earthing system and maintaining its logbook.
Mandatory Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for these positions, all candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education: Must possess a DAE / B-Tech degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Instrumentation from an HEC/NTC recognized institution.
Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience in operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting within an LPG or Petrochemical Plant.
Skills: Candidates must be well-versed with the documentation and reporting of maintenance, inspection, and safety audits.
