Anti Narcotics Force Sindh Seeks Special Prosecutors on Contract Basis
The Regional Directorate of the Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) Sindh is seeking to hire four energetic and hardworking advocates to serve as Special Public Prosecutors for the Karachi station.
Position Details and Remuneration
The ANF is looking to fill four vacancies, two for Lower Courts and two for the High Court. The appointed Special Public Prosecutors/Advocates will be responsible for appearing in and conducting proceedings under various laws, including the Control of Narcotic Substances Act (CNSA) 1997, the Prevention of Smuggling Act 1977, and the Anti Money Laundering Act 2010.
The offered retainership is as follows:
For Lower Courts: Rs. 125,000/- per month
For High Court: Rs. 150,000/- per month
Eligibility Criteria for Applicants
Citizenship: Must be a citizen of Pakistan.
Residence: Must have a permanent residence and office in Karachi.
Experience (Trial Court): For trial court positions, the candidate must be enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court with a valid license. Preference given to advocates with at least five years.
Experience (High Court): For high court positions, candidates must be enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court with a valid license. Preference given to those with a minimum of ten years of practice experience
Knowledge Base: Must possess knowledge regarding psychotropic/psychoactive substances, controlled/illicit substances (including the UN convention/ANF Schedule), and asset cases under CNSA and AMLA 2010.
Selection and Application Process
The selection of candidates conducted merit. Only shortlisted candidates selected on their qualifications and specific experience in Narcotics/Assets (AMLA Cases)/Service Matters.
Interviews will be held at the Regional Directorate Anti Narcotics Force Sindh, G-13, Block -8, Khayaban E Jami Clifton Karachi. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
