About the Role

As the General Manager, you will lead the hotel’s operations, drive profitability, and ensure an exceptional guest experience. This position demands a visionary leader who can execute long-term strategies, implement innovative hospitality solutions, and achieve performance-based Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).


Qualifications and Experience

  • Education:
    A degree in Hotel/Hospitality Management, Business Studies, or an equivalent qualification from a reputable institution.
  • Age Requirement:
    Between 40-55 years by the application deadline.
  • Experience:
    • At least 20 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry.
    • A minimum of 5 years in a senior management role in 3-4 star hotels.
    • A proven track record of successfully managing hotel operations and leading teams.

Key Competencies

  • Comprehensive expertise in hotel management, including operations, project management, sales, and marketing.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Dedication to exceeding guest expectations through quality service and effective problem resolution.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills, even under pressure.

Responsibilities

As the General Manager, your core responsibilities will include:

    Oversee daily operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and event facilities.
  2. Strategic Planning:
    Develop and implement strategies to improve market position and profitability.
  3. Project Execution:
    Successfully undertake renovation and expansion projects to elevate the guest experience.

    Ensure financial performance through effective budgeting, cost control, and forecasting.
