Available Positions at SICVD
SICVD is offering multiple positions under different medical departments. Candidates can apply according to their qualifications and relevant experience.
Department of Adult Cardiology
The following positions are available:
FCPS Postgraduate Trainee: Candidates must have MBBS, completed house job, and valid PMDC registration. FCPS-I with completed IMM training is required. Candidates who have passed IMM are preferred. The training duration is three years.
Clinical Fellow: Applicants must possess MBBS, completed house job, valid PMDC registration, and completed FCPS Cardiology or MD Cardiology training. The duration is one year.
Department of Interventional Cardiology
Post Fellow: Candidates must have MBBS, completed house job, valid PMDC registration, and FCPS Cardiology qualification. The training duration is two years.
Department of Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
Post Fellow: Applicants must hold MBBS, completed house job, valid PMDC registration, and FCPS Paediatric Medicine qualification. The duration is two years at Sukkur.
Department of Paediatric Cardiology
Post Fellow: MBBS, house job, valid PMDC registration, and FCPS Cardiac Surgery qualification are required. Training duration is three years.
Clinical Fellow: Candidates must have MBBS, house job, valid PMDC registration, and completed FCPS Paediatrics training or MD/MCPS/Diploma in Paediatrics training. The duration is one year.
Department of Cardiac Surgery
Available positions include Post Fellow, Clinical Fellow, and FCPS Postgraduate Trainee.
Post Fellow applicants require FCPS Cardiac Surgery, while Clinical Fellow candidates must have completed FCPS Cardiac Surgery training. Postgraduate trainees require FCPS-I with completed IMM training, with IMM-passed candidates preferred.
Training durations are one to three years, depending on the position.
Department of Paediatric and Congenital Cardiac Surgery
Clinical Fellow: MBBS, completed house job, valid PMDC registration, and completed FCPS Cardiac Surgery training are required. The duration is one year.
Department of Anaesthesia
Clinical Fellow: Candidates must possess MBBS, completed house job, valid PMDC registration, and completed FCPS Anaesthesia training or MD/MCPS/Diploma in Anaesthesia. The duration is one year.
SICVD Contractual Job – TRMO
SICVD is also offering a contractual position for TRMO (Training and Research Medical Officer).
Required Qualification: MBBS with completed Diploma in Cardiology training and at least one year of relevant field experience.
Location: All SICVD centres and CPU network.
